With their fully staffed two-floor party boat, this experience will be one you surely will never forget! Plug your iPad in and play your favourite tunes while you dance the night away. If you’re looking for something a little more luxurious, hire their mega-talented DJ! Play some awesome party games on board like beer pong and soak up all that booze with a three-course meal made on board by their chefs-  what’s better than tucking into some delicious food while admiring the beautiful views? You can experience the sights first-hand on their awesome party deck and if you like you can even hire hilarious comedians to perform at your Hen or Stag do - whatever floats your boat!

For a midweek party, it’s £300 an hour, £350 per hour after 7 pm. For a weekend party, it’s £350 an hour and then after 7 pm, it’s £400. To plug in your device to play your tunes it will be £40 an hour, to use the provided decks is £75 and their onboard DJ is £300. Good to know

There’s not 1 but 2 fully-licensed bars on board that you can either put a tab on, pay by each drink or get unlimited drinks! The minimum time on deck is three hours and the maximum is five hours- giving you plenty of time to party the night away! It’s £300 to hold the date and you pay the rest of the bill a month before the event.

Horror Escape Room

Both rooms can have a maximum of 6 people in each scenario, so no need to worry about leaving anyone out of the spooky fun! If you’re itching to come back for more frights, you will be delighted to know that in March 2021, Horror Escape rooms will be revealing their brand new Murder Mansion room!

DNA VR

Have you ever played a video game and thought ‘’This is nice, but it just isn’t enough?’’ or you’ve just wished that there was a way you could be in the video game instead of just playing it? Well with DNA VR, your dreams will come true as you will find yourself not only playing the video games but fully immersed in the world with their amazing state of the art VR headsets!

What they do

With this epic VR arcade experience, you and your party will be in booths equipped with a VR headset and a huge library of games to choose from. It’s fully interactive too! See which one of your mates gets to the top of the leaderboard with their shooting games, try and survive a zombie apocalypse or even get on your virtual surfboard and ride a huge wave! The options are endless. If you’re looking for something even more realistic, then why don’t you try their wire free, completely interactive VR experience! You will be in a 6x6 room with a roaming headset, where you can walk, duck and run both in real life and in your game! Don’t worry, with every game you play you will have a VR Master on site, making sure that you have both an amazing and safe time.

Depending on the site you are in, between 9 and 11 people at a time can be on the VR sets, (plus the four Premium Free-Roaming headsets if you’ve opted for them) so if your group is too big to accommodate everyone at the same time you can watch a live feed of your mates’ screen and laugh at their in-game epic fails! You can also get a picture taken of you and your party with your headsets on as a great memento for a day full of laughs!

Price

If you decide to have a weekday session it will be £27 per person for an hour or £50 per person for two hours and if you choose a weekend session it will be £32 per person for an hour or £60 for two hours. You get a 20 minute break in between hour sessions to recharge and relive the goings on of the first hour over a cheeky beer or a glass of bubbles (bring your own!). A session in the 6x6 is £130 for 1 hour or £250 for 2 hours for a weekday sesh and £150 for 1 hour or £280 overall at the weekend. Good to Know

The games at DNA VR are designed for between 4 and 10 people to play simultaneously. The bride or groom can be the nominated host so they can be in charge of the games played and everyone else can join them. You enter your name at the very beginning so there is ALWAYS a competition for who scores highest, survives longest or dies least!!

Tasha’s Tea Room

Got a bride or groom who likes nothing more than delicious homemade cakes and a nice cuppa surrounded by friends and family? With Tasha’s Tea Room, you can get all that and more with their delectable afternoon tea experience.

What they do

Tasha’s Tea Room based in Cheam is a beautiful venue that provides amazingly yummy cakes, sandwiches and more. This event is something for everyone to enjoy, so you can nibble your finger foods while chatting up a storm with your Grandma before going out on a night on the town with your mates! Tasha’s Tea room is even licensed for alcohol so you can indulge in a cheeky bottle of Prosecco! Naughty!

Tasha’s Tea Room is an already beautifully decorated venue, but if you want to go that extra mile, Tasha is more than happy to get some awesome balloons set up for you and you can even bring your own decorations to make your tea-party dreams come to life! You’re also more than welcome to play games at your party - how exciting!

A standard afternoon tea party is £15, but if you want a deluxe package that includes Prosecco, that’s £19.50. There is a £50 deposit and you pay the rest of the price 48 hours before the event. To book, contact them through their website.

Good to know

The afternoon teas run between 2 and half 4, giving you plenty of time to enjoy your food and company. There are great transport links too, with the Cheam Rail Station only a ten-minute walk away, making it a perfect stop for a hen/stag weekend!

Soho Life Drawing

We know how hard it can be to find an activity for a bride or groom and finding one that is both unique and a blast is even more difficult! Well with Soho’s life drawing lessons you get to release your inner artist while having an amazing time with your mates.

What they do

Soho’s Life Drawing aims to provide an artistic and stress-free environment where you can walk away from the session with a new skill under your belt and a piece of art you can be proud of! Owner Anna Mackowski is an experienced art teacher who has been teaching life drawing lessons for over six years.  She realised how common it is for adults to be discouraged from making art later in life so she encourages her students to pick up the paper and draw their live nude models, making art and memories that they will never forget.

Soho’s Life drawing is a mobile service, meaning you pick the venue, so if you’re wanting a tipple while you draw to your heart's content, pick a venue that is licensed to sell alcohol and you’re more than welcome to have a boozy drawing sesh!

Price

The classes are a minimum of £280 and if you have a class with over sixteen people it is £8 per person from 16 upwards. You can book via email. There is a deposit of £60 and you pay the rest a day before the class.

Good to know

It’s an hour and a half session, giving you plenty of time to finish up your masterpieces and Anna provides all the art supplies so there’s no stress for you to bring anything. These sessions are all about having fun, so there’s no need to worry about your art being perfect and you will be taught by qualified teachers, so you may even surprise yourself with what you come up with!

Food at 52 Cookery School

Founded by John Benbow and Emily Ash, Food at 52 was initially at #52 (hence the name!) until the school moved to larger premises in 2016. John and Emily have created a quirky, homely interior which entirely belies the traditional cookery school environment. Food at 52 is all about sharing a wonderful experience with the people that mean the most to you.

Sat together at a giant wooden table as you create your masterpieces, the artwork that surrounds you starts conversation, the wine flows freely - in the words of Time Out magazine (who can blatantly put it so much better than I ever could) ‘you’ve got to see this place. Much more than a cookery school, this is a full-on culinary experience’.

Head on over to Clerkenwell, Central London and enjoy your choice of a mind-boggling array of flavours from all over the world. John and Emily are passionate about the link between food and life experiences. The cuisine choice might be associated with where the happy couple are going on honeymoon. Where they met. Their favourite choice of food when they go out as a couple. The myriad choices are best seen to be believed - check out their options on the website to decide which best suits your bride or groom! South Indian, Italian, Vietnamese, Pasta, Vegan, Vegetarian…..I could go on (but won’t!)

Now are you sat down? If not, you probably should be for this next part. In keeping with the theme of the experience being entirely immersive, the wine is free-flowing all night - a bottomless goblet if you will!

This is a unique, friendly, high-end cookery school where you cook what you eat as a feast at the end. What’s not to love?

Maximum group size is 30-35 people with a different format for groups over 22 people including wine tasting and a quiz! Food at 52 is brilliantly situated in between Angel, Barbican and Old Street stations - so central that just a short walk away are the many bars and clubs of Angel and Shoreditch to continue the party long into the night!

Mud Gang

Arts and crafts are always an amazing way to bring the ones you love the most together to have fun, so it just makes sense that Mud Gang in Southbank would be the perfect way to celebrate a stag/hen party! Head on over to their beautiful art studio, take a lump of clay and turn it into a beautiful piece of pottery to keep forever!

What they do

Owners Rachael Nilsson and Imogen Bellotti started their company in 2019 to pass on their skills of clay making to anyone and everyone who wants to create their own work of art. With their relaxing and welcoming environment, you and your party will have no hesitation to hop on the pottery wheel to make anything from a plate, vase, bowl and more! Rachel is an illustrator by trade so we can assure you that you and your pottery are in good hands!

All this creative energy leaving you a bit peckish? Well, luckily you’re more than welcome to bring any food you want! If you’re wanting a cheeky bit of booze while you create your masterpiece, you can bring your own alcohol, just watch out for lumps and bumps in your artwork if you have too much of a tipple!

It is £70 per person for a two-hour session and there is a 50 per cent deposit to pay before the day. You can book through their website.

Good to know

If you’re wanting a bit more of an intimate experience, you can book a private session on Friday, Saturday or Sunday- you can book it for the night time too! Let the stress of your life melt away as beautiful music plays during the sessions adding to the amazing ambience. Bars and restaurants are dotted all around the local area, so you can have a delicious meal after you’ve worked up an appetite making your fabulous ceramics. If you’re looking for something that’s a bit further away- the venue is only a few minutes walk away from Waterloo station!

MYO

Make Your Own, or MYO for short was formed by Sam and Diana in 2017. After successful careers with corporate giants Ernst & Young and KPMG, they decided to break the mould, get out of the ‘rat race’ (insert a variety of other clichés here!!!) and start a super cool business perfectly situated in London Bridge, just a stone’s throw away from the bohemian hustle and bustle of Borough Market.

What They do

They offer 14 creative workshops - from calligraphy to lino printing, pottery painting to life drawing. Be warned - their activities are addictive!
Their mission is to help adults explore their creative side! Everyone is creative, you just need an outlet. They provide the space, materials, equipment and guidance, so you can flex those creative muscles together.
