How do I set up a Collctiv pot?

Getting started with Collctiv is easy - you can quickly sign up here and in just a few clicks you’re ready to start your collection pot.

We’ve made it a breeze for you to collect the money, no matter how many people are a part of your gift round, and then be able use these funds to find the perfect gift! The people chipping into your collection pot don’t need to sign up for Collctiv to contribute, so everything is low maintenance.

To start collecting the money from your friends, family and colleagues, simply head into the pot and select “Collect Money”. You’ll then have the following list of options.

• Copy payment link
  • This allows you to copy the link for the payment page so you can paste it wherever you like.
• Invite people to pay
  • This gives you the option to share your pot via social media, email and WhatsApp
• Pay into pot
  • This takes you straight to your collection pots payment page
• Display QR code
  • This gives you a unique QR code for your pot (super handy when collecting funds in person!)

Where can I spend the money I collect?

There’s a number of ways you can spend the money you’ve collected from your group:

• We’ve partnered with a number of brands including Bloom & Wild, Wellbox, needi, and many more to bring a curated range of products in the Collctiv Gift Shop‍
  • From thoughtful hampers to beautiful flowers, all delivered directly to your recipient's door, we’ve got you covered. You can even pay for these gifts using your collection pots balance, meaning you no longer need to withdraw the money to your bank account!

• We’ve also got a range of gift cards from the UK’s leading retailers including John Lewis, M&S, Theatre Tokens and lots more! We recently partnered with Love2shop to bring the UK’s leading multi-retailer gift card into our selection as well, meaning your recipient has more options than ever before.

• You can still withdraw the money to your bank account if you can’t find the perfect present or gift card in our app. We’d love to hear your feedback if a product or brand is missing, so please email us anytime at hello@collctiv.com to let us know what you’re looking to buy! Please note, withdrawals do take 2-3 working days to land in your bank.

• Finally, if you’d like to give complete control of the gift-buying to the recipient, you can use our ‘Send Money’ feature to send the funds directly to this lucky person. They can ‘claim’ the money and spend the collection pot however they like, from any of the previously mentioned options!
